Barefeet International is a child and youth focused, non-profit organisation, working directly with orphans and other vulnerable children and their communities.
Barefeet International is a non-religious, non-political organisation, which was established in 2007 by a small group of young, dedicated Australian volunteers. Barefeet was established in order to work with international grass-roots organisaions who work directly with orphaned and other vulnerable children in developing countries.

The organisation has two main focuses:

To support communities to meet the daily needs of orphaned and other vulnerable children and youth.

To empower communities and development organisations by assisting and supporting them to focus on sustainable funding sources and attaining self-sufficiency.

Barefeet International has a strong belief in creating sustainable and long-term solutions to development issues, and focuses much of its work on collaborative projects which aim to develop self-sustainable projects.
